Welcome to the Edinburgh Photographic Society
Edinburgh Photographic Society, founded in 1861, is one of the oldest photographic societies in the world. We warmly welcome all who share an interest in photography – from the complete beginner to the most skilled photographer. Our season runs from Sept through to August each year. The culmination is normally the Edinburgh International Exhibition. First run in 1861, this is one of the longest running exhibitions in the world. Following the COVID pandemic, most of our meetings are now hybrid meetings so members may attend in our clubrooms in Edinburgh or on Zoom. We have a full annual programme of lectures, demonstrations and regular club competitions to challenge and improve your skills. Forthcoming meetings are shown here, with the complete 2022/23 syllabus downloadable from the quick link below. Meetings start at 7:30 pm. Information on forthcoming meetings are regularly emailed to all members.
