Dreaming of travel to beautiful places.

Dreaming of travel.
I love to travel, especially here in Scotland and France. We would drive to the south of France to buy our favourite wine, 'Muscat de St. Jean de Minervois', even though its available in some branches of Sainsburys here. Now we can only daydream about going to our favourite places. A glass of sweet muscat wine helps to make that dream a little bit sweeter.

I had a disaster this morning, forgot to pick up my tripod! Luckily I had a monopod in the car so was still able to get some photos.

Edinburgh Castle
So I was sick of seeing some amazing sunsets last week from the office... decided to work from our office in town and duck out to catch the sunset tonight (this afternoon).
Not as impressive as last week but still quite something when looking over Edinburgh from my favourite spot.

Lone Tree on Loch Lomond
My wife and I went up to Loch Lomond for a long weekend. The weather on Sunday was great but Monday was really bad rain. Managed to get this by shielding behind a tree and using an umbrella as I captured the image....

Red Rose
I've been talking about doing this shot for ages, never got round to it so decided to treat my wife to some flowers this morning.... the only problem anytime I do buy her flowers she knows there is a photographic agenda... who says romance is dead...

Sunrise by Cramond Island
I was up at the crack of dawn again to try and capture the sunrise. I decided to go west and see if I could get something nice near Cramond Island.

Portobello Beach at Sunrise
I had a nightmare morning, car was frozen then realised I forgot my warm jacket once I was out (thought it was in the car) so had to use my wife's pink top....
That said I still managed to capture this down at Portobello beach at sunrise. Really nice colours today.
