Photographers are often advised to delay for at least a month before editing their images and I assume that this is to reduce impulsiveness and attachment to moment of image making.

I think I agree with this (in most cases) as my objectivity and detachment increases and my editing skills often improve in the meantime.Nov 16, 2011

During a trip to Oxford, a bank was celebrating its reopening of its branch there with a festival of street entertainment. At the start of his routine, this chap saw my camera and quickly struck a couple of poses. In front of him is a ladder, which he subsequently raised to a vertical position and balanced at the top for around 20 minutes while he did a juggling act.
