Winter Morning - DIarmid Weir

An icy Lochan na h-Achlaise with the Black Mount, touched by one or two shafts of sunlight, reflected on its surface. A high dynamic range (HDR) technique has been used to enhance contrast and colours.
As a print, this image won the landscape and overall prize in the 2008 Scottish Seabird Centre photography competition.
